March 17, 2013 (Day +109)
Praise God for His goodness and faithfulness.
We’re back in the hospital. Labs were drawn and Jeremy’s platelets are continuing to hold at 19, so no transfusion tonight. He will need a transfusion tomorrow for a procedure.
Jeremy is scheduled for a lumbar puncture sometime tomorrow morning, so it means he’ll need to skip breakfast again. The lumbar puncture will test to see if there are any leukemia cells in Jeremy’s cerebral spinal fluid (csf). We are praying that Jeremy’s csf is clear, as God has kept it since diagnosis back in June 2012.
The medical staff here are great. I’m certain they all sympathize and feel for us, but they put on their happiest faces to make sure we’re warmly received. There are good people here.
As we look at Jeremy tonight and see how great he’s doing, despite everything that he’s gone through, we have to thank our heavenly Father for pouring out His mercy on Jeremy through this entire ordeal. Praise God for how He continues to strengthen and sustain Jeremy.
We’re all pretty exhausted, so I’ll end this update here. Please continue to pray with us.

- that God would receive all the honor, glory, and praise for this trial
- that we would fix our eyes on Him
- for spiritual protection from the enemy’s lies
- that our families would have the Lord’s peace and comfort as we all wrestle with the recent news of Jeremy’s current situation
- that God would miraculously heal Jeremy from this aggressive disease
- that the new treatment would be effective in treating the relapsed leukemia
- that God would strengthen and protect every inch of Jeremy’s body – his brain, heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, pancreas – from the side effects of the new treatment
- that God would protect Jeremy from any dangerous or fatal infections during his treatment
- that God would protect Jeremy from mucousitis, stomach issues, or any other painful side effects from the chemotherapy
- that Jeremy would be able to eat and play through the upcoming chemotherapy
- that God would give the doctors wisdom in treating Jeremy and recommending next steps
- for our protection (Alice, Matty, and myself), that we would not be exposed to any of the medications being used in this next treatment phase
- for the lumbar puncture procedure, that it would be free of any complications and that we would see favorable results, leukemia free cerebral spinal fluid

Stay strong and faithful! Will do fasting & prayers today to stay alongside with Jeremy remotely. “I lift up my eyes to the mountains -where does my help come from? We are praying for Jeremy and you all so very hard. We are so sorry to hear of this.
